As our Factory Applications Manager you will have the chance to build up new IT Governance with new Infrastructure and Applications for Hitachi Energy. If you are a person who enjoys connecting with people and new solutions, you will have almost limitless opportunities in this role to expand your horizons and build your skills. You will work in a multi-national environment and culture within IT. The position will be based in either Västerås or Ludvika, Sweden.
Your responsibilities
Lead the application team which maintains the REM /IT Applications Landscape in Northern Europe
Ensure services are delivered according to agreed SLAs/OLAs, within budget, time and quality utilizing internal IT delivery and service providers
Provide cost transparency and proactively enquire efficiency improvement opportunities
Ensure effective interfaces and communication between local/global IT teams for all IT activities
Maintain relationships with IT and business management at Local, Global and Regional level to clarify trade-offs for cost, time and demand and manages expectations and requirements for delivery of IT services
Lead the capture, analysis, assessment, aggregation and prioritization of new IT business facing Applications service demand as part of IT Service portfolio management within your area of responsibility
Contribute to satisfaction with IT services by assessing expectations, verifying that actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder perceptions of Applications services
Drive adherence to Global and regional governance model, enforce use of Hitachi Energy IT Infrastructure and tools, methods and procedures within the team
Your background
You have proven project and service management experience in a highly integrated application environment with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge and experience in project and service management lifecycle processes, tools, methodologies, and standards. Certification in ITIL, PMP, Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
Highly adept at bridging, translating, and integrating business with IT, and converting business requirements into IT solutions
Deep understanding of the drivers of demand and consumption of application services
Experience in managing diverse stakeholders, and ability to effectively communicate with them. Strong presentation skills are highly desirable
Ability to generate new ideas, challenge status quo, support change and foster innovation, as well as capability to handle complex issues and make timely decisions
5 years of experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies and experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent work experience is advantageous
