ISLK - International School of Lund Katedralskolan is an IB World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme. The school works in close collaboration with Katedralskolan where the Diploma Programme is offered. ISLK is a growing school and has 320 students at the moment.

Publiceringsdatum2018-05-11ArbetsuppgifterProvide leadership in the pre-school (Early Years Programme) and after school programme (Fritids); in planning of activities, organizing the teams and schedules, professional development and running team meetings.
Lead a group of staff; setting goals, evaluate and have professional development talks as well as salary talks.
Be a part of and work in close collaboration with the Educational Leadership Team (ELT) about whole school activities, school development and improvement within the IB curricula and the continuum of the school.
Guide and work in close collaboration with the teachers and pedagogues in the two departments within the framework of the Swedish pre-school/Fritids regulations and the IB Primary Early Years programme.
Some scheduled contact time with the children during pre-school and Fritids opening hours.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KvalifikationerEnthusiasm and strong commitment to teaching and learning.
Great interest in the IB concept and a holistic view of children and their development.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Certified pre-school teacher and excellent teaching skills.
Knowledge/awareness of Fritids structure in a Swedish setting.
Able to lead and work well in a team environment.
Attitudes and skills required for a cross-cultural environment.
Documented experience from working in pre-school and school.
Interest in being a part of and working in an international setting and curriculum.
Knowledge and experience of the IB Primary Years programme is a bonus.
Fluent in English, speaking and writing.
