Position

The Area Sales Manager for Scandinavia is responsible for the identification and development of opportunities in the Scandinavian countries, excluding Norway, that will significantly grow current business levels.

Responisble for all the sales in the territory direct to major end users, through a distributors or formal alliances plus maximising the performance of the current accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and analyze market information to assist with the development and implementation of strategic direction for the region including coverage direct or distribution in conjunction with the Regional Leader

• Develop annual sales plans and take ownership of forecasts for the region

• Provide accurate weekly reports

• Ensure full information obtained on any project or enquiry so accurate and competitive  proposal can be  produced

• Ensure that future projects are communicated to the Operations Team as a priority

• Identify, track and secure contracts from key players in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power markets.

• Find opportunities for Hydratight products and services in different markets

• Establish a direct link with decision-makers in the Design, Operating and construction companies with the aim of getting Hydratight's range of products and services specified.

• Actively promote the â'Leak Free' initiative (Joint Integrity Management) that forms the heart of our service philosophy and use it to penetrate the upstream and downstream markets in the region.

• Promote and present all Hydratight's products and services throughout the region

• Become an active part of the Northern Europe management team

• Effective use of company CRM - Quickbase

The position as Area Sales Manager reports to the Northern Europe Regional Leader 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have documented experience from a similar position with recognized engineering/marketing qualification and a strong business skills. Well experienced user of Computer and Microsoft Office software to generate various reports, make presentations and data management. Have an experience in either service sales or product sales in one of the following markets- Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Powergen, wind or Heavy industry. Should possess excellent communication skills and Speak Danish / Swedish and English with excellent writ skills. In the position you should be able to travel extensively and work remotely and independently.

To be succesful in the position you should have a clear business focus, be abel to think strategically and innovative and strive to meet customer expectations. Furter more you should be able to adapt to change and through your communication engage and inspire your environment. Continuous improvement should be one of the key factors in your drive for results. You should be a person who has the abillity to build and develop your business area.
