We are now looking for Engineers to join our Shared Cloud E3 Engineering Service Teams (ESTs). These EST teams carry out Integration, Support, Tools and Operational activities.
The Shared Cloud E3 mission is to provide a compelling Target Environment (TE) Specific Cloud as a Service to PDUs for the verification and testing of their VNFs and applications. There is also an opportunity to offer these services as well to Product Integration Centers (PICs), Customer Units (CUs), etc.
The Shared Cloud E3 scope includes the Ericsson Cloud Solution (NFVi) on HDS8000, BSP and COTs (Dell/HP) Hardware. It is also expanding to support VMWARE, RHSOP and 3PP Hardware Cloud setups.
Responsibilities
• Be part of the Shared Cloud E3 EST teams and contribute to one or several of the following areas: Integration, Support, Tools and Operational Engineering Activities.
• Adhering to the Shared Cloud E3 team Lean & Agile principles ways of working
Key Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree from technical university, or equivalent
• NFV competence in one or several of the following areas ?NFVi technology and capabilities: HDS8000, CEE, SDN, ECM
• NFVi hardware reference solution
• Understanding of how VNFs and applications use and integrate with CEE/NFVi
• 3PP competence in one or several of the following areas ?VMWARE, RHSOP, 3PP Dell and HP Cloud hardware reference solutions
• Scripting competence to automate Methods or Procedures and/or EST activities
• Strong knowledge in Networking IP competences
• Experience from Cloud Service delivery to Ericsson end customers
• Knowledge about operations and service management for cloud services
