• The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing an agreed growth plan for Consultant Onsite/ based engineering service with our client.
• Leading engineering delivery from our engineering teams in accordance with customer's product development system (PCS / GPDS), to support component and sub-system design and packaging activities to ensure components meet performance and attribute targets.
• Guiding and mentoring engineering teams to help build capability and skills and ensure customer expectations and requirements are met and establishing a "solutioning mentality"
• Ensuring service levels are in accordance with the agreed SLA's ( Workloading, Quality, On Time Delivery etc)
• Managing the business / customer relationship with our client.
• Ensuring that engineering team is kept fully loaded with a healthy pipeline of activity and creating demand for further growth.
• Attending customer meetings as necessary with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, finance, sales etc and filtering/ feeding information and data to offshore team; maintaining governance control of the engagement.
Skills Required:
• Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector.
• Broad knowledge of all Automotive commodities (Chassis, Body, Manufacturing, Electrical, Powertrain) is desirable but more importantly sound engineering knowledge of design process and manufacturing techniques is essential.
• Proven experience in Customer engagement, Employee engagement, global operations, support internal sales, promoting business etc.
• Self-Motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills - demonstrated ability of communicating with multicultural and remote teams as well as at all levels within a customer environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications - Any experience (direct or indirect) would be advantageous.
• Business acumen - ensure engineering service revenue and cost control.
• Travel as necessary to other Sweden based customer sites and occasional travel to India.
