In this position, you will be part of an experienced team of Project Managers, Business Sub-Portfolio Managers (BSPM) and Solution Expert (SME).
The Physical Test portfolio consists of a diverse range of IT-solutions, supporting physical test processes at Volvo Group. Solutions in this portfolio enable data management & data analytics of test data. You will operate in a truly global context, with stakeholders across several Business Areas and Truck Divisions.
You will play an important part in enabling our R&D organization to access its data using storage solution within the HPC and data analytics area. Your main focus will be securing operations and easy access to the storage with hardware and infrastructure frameworks.
In order to be successful in this position you need to have experience from IT-infrastructure setup such as storage and cloud.
Main Responsibilities
Design, development, continuously refine and improve of storage systems
Storage procurements
Coordinate infrastructure changes with suppliers
Data storage planning and managment
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
This role requires a Master or Bachelor's University degree in computer science or related area
Experienced in configuration and management of enterprise storage system.
Experienced in performance management and monitoring of enterprise Storage system.
Experienced in handling storage configuration & provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Beneficial but not necessary
Experienced in integrating storage system against Kubernetes platform
Experienced in running Data Science Applications against Storage solutions.
Experienced in running High performance Compute against Storage
Volvo group experience
