Stegra, formerly know as H2 Green Steel,is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. As our Enterprise Risk Manager at Stegra, you will implement, operate,and oversee the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Thisframework interconnects and aligns various risk-related disciplines, includingInternal Control, Business Continuity, Insurance,Compliance, Protective Security Risk, InformationSecurity Risk, and Sustainability Risk Management.
You will alsomanage Stegra's insurance program. Your role will be critical in embeddingstructured and contextualized risk management practices into decision-making,prioritizing risk treatment, and providing stakeholders with confidence in meeting objectives.This is a unique opportunity to shape Stegra's ERM deployment and foster a risk-aware culture in an organization without legacy constraints. We value proactive,solution-oriented individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsand are ready to tackle diverse tasks.You will be part of the Finance & Legal team, reporting to the Head ofCorporate Governance, and will work closely with senior management and otherrisk-related functions.Key responsibilities
Enterprise Risk Management- Implement and monitor an ERM framework to identify, assess, treat, and monitor risks and opportunities.- Operationalize the ERM framework through coaching, direct responsibilities, and risk management support for ad-hoc decisions.- Prepare and maintain risk appetite statements with the Head of Strategy, risk category owners, and the Management Team.- Consolidate and analyze enterprise-level risks, preparing comprehensive reports for the Management Team and Board of Directors.- Compile and report risk factors and disclosures for external reporting.- Promote a risk-aware culture through training, awareness programs, and clear communication of responsibilities.- Collaborate with other risk-related functions to ensure a consistent approach to risk management and assurance.Insurance Management- Develop, implement and monitor the Corporate & Boden Project Insurance Management Program in alignment with the ERM framework with a strategic approach to insurances and related budget.- Support the organization in identifying and assessing insurable risks, recommending coverage, analyzing risk profiles, and ensuring regulatory compliance.-Negotiate with insurance brokers and insurers, maintaining strong relationships to ensure optimal coverage and service.- Manage claims and analyze trends with risk owners, providing regular reports.- Be a part of insurance auditsRequirements-Master's degree in Business, Science, Finance or related field- 7+ years of working experience of which 4+ years of experience in risk management or internal auditor roles within industry, preferably involving quantitative risk management and decision supporting roles.- Proven experience in managing corporate insurance programs- Experience of leading change across an organization- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective at all levels- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, with a passion to learn and grow- Proven track record of challenging the status quo and driving positive change- Ability to work independently and collaboratively- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Proficient in written and spoken English
