Your responsibility as an Enterprise information Architect (EIA) is to ensure that entity models, information governance supports, and keeps up with the fast-paced changes in the business, data and information. AS EIA you understand information and compliance requirements when networks of systems and machines interacts on a large scale.
EIA responsibility includes that data quality, information security, information accessibility and agility of the enterprise information architecture supports the business strategy and satisfies future-state objectives.
As Volvo Trucks EIA you also participate and engage in building governance structure for the fast growing API landscape.

Volvo Trucks Digital & IT is a global function, and is responsible for our Digital/IT strategy, and IT End to End within Volvo Trucks. Our aim is to align process and target architecture of information/IT to business strategies and goals.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
Your expertise in information architecture, and business outcomes will be key to enable the full potential of the different digitalization initiatives and the connected experiences implemented at Volvo Trucks.
You will collaborate closely with the Enterprise architects, masterdata team, API-teams and the business to support the design and execution of an information strategy and the delivery of the outcomes.
In your role as Information Architect you are building the runways to make it is easy to do difficult.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Master- or Bachelor Degree or equivalent educational level in Computer Science/ IT
Experience in Information architecture
Experience in masterdata and information mgmt, and understanding of related processes and solutions
Data integration / API governance
Design of business concepts and solutions with a focus on the information perspective
Concept Modeling, Domain modeling, Information Modeling, API modeling and governance
Master data management
Data and program governance
Experience / interest in Competive laws, GDPR and other legislations that needs to be taken into consideration when business models moves towards increased need of data-sharing
Interest and understanding of data as a valuable asset and part of a product offering
Experience / Interest in data governance for API publishing and information sharing
Cooperate with business information owners and data stewards
Encourage the organization to contribute to Data mgmt./quality, Advanced analytics & AI
Excellent English, written and spoken
Communicative, with the ability to translate complicated technical discussions to business language and vice versa.
Experience / Interest in working in a global environment
