ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The trainee program is specifically designed for engineering talents graduating in 2023 and are looking to gain hands-on experience within electronics and software development. The program offers a comprehensive introduction to the industry-leading technologies used by Alps Alpine. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, learning from their expertise and guidance. Of course, you will also work on real-world projects, gaining valuable practical experience.
Throughout the 12-month program, trainees will receive ongoing training and support as well as set training sessions bi-monthly within different focus areas such as project management, cyber security, next generation vehicle electronics, and agile methods, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in your role. The program also provides ample opportunities for career development and growth within the company. The ambition is for the program to end with a visit to the international Alps Alpine headquarters in Japan!
Below is a selection of the roles that make up the trainee program:
Software Developer within Interior Detection (Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ and ML/AI)
Audio Software Developer (Linux, signal processing, integrations)
Hardware Engineer within Sound and Speakers (Speaker electronics and audio testing)
Infotainment Systems Engineer (Hardware and software, display technology and systems solutions)
Blackbox Systems Engineer (Computing hardware and control systems)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To qualify for the trainee program, we believe that you:
Graduate in 2023 with a relevant master's or civil engineering degree, such as electronics or electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or software engineering or equivalent.
Possess a genuine technical interest.
As a person, you are driven, communicative and curious.
Are fluent in spoken and written English.
Meritorious experience:
Relevant work experience or technical hobby projects in addition to your studies.
Interest in or experience from sound and speaker technology.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT:
This is a consulting assignment meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is for the assignment to result in a permanent employment at Alps Alpine after the trainee program.
