The Engineering Graduate program
The Engineering Graduate Program at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is a global 12-month program where you are offered the perfect mix of on-the-job learning and diverse training modules. You will get the chance to use your technical and creative engineering skills while gaining valuable experience working with real products on real business challenges.

Job description
The Digitalization or use of data in product development is a crucial strategic topic for the Chassis Department. In this role you will be responsible for implementing the Digitalization Culture in the Chassis Department. It involves the development of new digital solutions for product development and maintenance.
Some of the critical milestones to be accomplished are:
Identify among the data available from vehicles (customer and Volvo-owned) what can be used for Chassis Product Development. Set the goals for Data usage in Product Development and Product Maintenance.
Develop a data acquisition/analysis process and understand the hardware performance linked to it. Spread the knowledge across the chassis teams and all related cross-functions, globally. Implement a routine for Data analysis that includes a communication channel. Create a routine of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and training for the Chassis Engineering Team.
Monitor the use of Data in Product Development and Maintenance. Collect achievements and lessons learned during the implementation phase.
Run the Continuous improvement routine.

Required knowledge/experience
In order to qualify for the Engineering Graduate program you must have completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering prior to the start of the program but not more than 18 months ago. You should not have more than two years full-time working experience prior to starting. You also need to be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
