The Solar System Physics and Space Technology research programme at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics in Kiruna invites applications for a temporary 3-month position as an engineer. The work includes system design of the J3 CubeSat and development of a power system and/or a data processing system.

Qualifications: M.Sc in space technology; experience with CubeSat power system design, data processing system and CubeSat system design; knowledge of Systems Tool Kit (STK), MATLAB and Circuit design with CAD softwares.

The work is conducted mostly in English. The work must be completed within a very tight deadline and no time is available for training or learning.

The position is placed in Kiruna. The contract covers a fixed 3-month period beginning during the first three months of 2016.
