We have been leading the wireless transformation within the lighting industry since 2008, where our technology is being used every day in the largest TV and Movie productions in Hollywood, at the Coachella festival, and the Eurovision Song Contest. Our patented technologies provide unprecedented reliability for the most business-critical applications and our products are now also being used in building automation solutions, as well as in heavy industry applications.
Replacing cables in buildings and industry applications, with wireless communication, adds value through easier and more flexible installations, lower maintenance costs, and increased range. With the number of cable installations in buildings and industries around the world, the future possibilities are endless.
Responsibilities
We are looking for our next Embedded Software Developer to join our team and work on our innovative wireless technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software for embedded systems, working closely with software- and hardware teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Product development will play an important part in your role, meaning exploring new protocols that can be replaced by our wireless technology. We expect you to be able to bring your ideas all the way to a finished product on the market, with all that entails. You will have the overall responsibility from a developer perspective, where actual coding is only one part of your daily work.
Your future
The product development team within Building & Industrial Control Systems is a small and vibrant team, passionate about understanding the users and the environment in which our products operate. Working closely with the end products, you will learn about the protocols and how the products are being used to make buildings and industries more energy efficient. You will play an important role in making different building- and industrial protocols work in a wireless environment, where the requirements are high when it comes to latency. We believe that our unique technology can help make the world a better place, for example by facilitating solar installations, and we truly love the journey of getting there.
At our company, we place a strong emphasis on code quality, and we believe that the best possible solution always wins. We value curiosity and a willingness to learn, as understanding the protocols is essential for delivering high-quality products. We offer opportunities for personal and professional growth, including the option to attend trade shows and fairs in Europe and North America, although participation is completely voluntary. Our team is collaborative and non-pretentious, and we encourage open communication and a willingness to share knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
