We are now looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. You will have a significant role in delivering Enerpoly's zinc-ion battery to the market and bring the world closer to 100% renewable energy.
You will work closely with our Product Development team and support in embedded hardware development for the battery management system. You are used to high standards and have hands-on experience with electronics design and development. You exhibit a can-do attitude, and you approach problems with vigor and determination. You are expected to demonstrate versatility and possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading the responsibilities for circuit design of the BMS, components, and complete PCBAs.
• Vendor process development, including component selection and supplier communication.
• Creation and maintenance of component libraries.
• Design verification and validation.
• Documentation of new features according to customers' specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Master's degree in an engineering field (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control etc.)
• Relevant experience in Embedded Hardware development.
• Experience with product development, from concept prototyping through to volume production.
• Circuit design skills preferably in Altium or Kicad (or relevant ECAD software).
• Excellent oral and written English language skills are required.
• Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of a project.
Additional merits:
• Good knowledge of different communication busses (I2C, CAN, SPI, or MODBUS) and protocols/standards.
• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO26262)
• Experience working with EMI/EMC standards.
• Embedded software skills are welcome.
• Hobbyists and formula student experience is valuable.
