There are many possibilities ahead of us and we are looking for an electronics engineer with a genuine interest in hardware design and product development to strengthen our electronics team at New Business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Electronics team you will be an active and vital resource in all stages of the project. From ide to product on the shelf. There will be development projects targeting our current portfolio as well as project aiming to widen our product portfolio. In parallel we work with study of new hardware technologies that will fit into our future generation of products.
Your main tasks will be:
Participate in early pre study projects. Perform feasibility studies of the electronic design Evaluate solutions and select suitable components Create electronic design schematics Support our EMS partners during the project Perform tests and verifications of the electronic design Handle regulatory approvals (EMC, safety, UL, etc.) Create production documentation
The electronic design will be done in close cooperation with PCB CAD engineers, software engineers and mechanical engineers in order to create an optimal hardware design and high quality products. You will work together with our Operations department, assisting them in production startup and optimization work. You will thus be responsible for the electronics design in the project from start to finish.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We expect you to have a Master’s degree in electronic engineering or equal knowledge. You have good understanding of system level design of complex products combined with knowledge within both analog and digital design.
You have deeper interest or got work experience in one or several of the following areas: audio, wireless communication, power supply design, EMC, board level design of microprocessor systems, motor control, thermal management and schematics capture. Make sure to point out your specific set of skills and preferences in the application.
You are expected to have a basic understanding of other areas within engineering and the ability to facilitate collaboration with other disciplines such as software and mechanical design teams. We believe that you are a highly motivated person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are also able to work efficiently both individually with limited supervision as well as within a team of other highly skilled engineers.
