Volvo Penta is developing electrified driveline systems for a varity of applications.
We are now looking for an Electrical motor Expert.
Role description
Together with colleagues at Volvo Penta and within the Volvo Group you will take the lead in driving this area from a Volvo Penta perspective. You will be highly involved in determining the new demands for our electrical motors and you will follow the development within the area. As our Electrical motor Expert, you will also have continuous dialogue with our customers and suppliers and the ability to build and maintain strong networks.
Your focus areas will be:
Build and keep an electrical motor network within the Volvo Group
Follow the development of future technologies both internal and external
Write technical requirements with both internal and external requirements
Have contacts and communicate with suppliers
Develop test and verification methods on component level
Develop Volvo Penta electrical motor road map
Be the center of expertise within Volvo Penta for Electrical Motors

Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to have a Master of Science and long experience in the electrical motor technology area, preferably within the automotive industry. However, to us it is you and your personality that is the most important assets for us.
You value customer relationships and understands that deadlines must be met and at the same time have and a genuine interest of new technology. You are capable of working effectively in a multicultural company, dealing with both local and global stakeholders. In addition to this you have strong self-management skills with a high level of energy and flexibility. Your strong networking and communication skills will be a great benefit for us.
