As an Electrical Engineer at E.ON Climate & Renewables in Malmö, you will work in the European and new markets electrical engineering department of E.ON's central engineering team.
You will provide electrical engineering support to onshore and offshore projects across different countries, from development through construction and into operations, as required. You will be involved in global wide projects and initiatives.
In development, you will be lead the electrical aspects of the turbine supply and balance of plant tenders, prepare and review electrical designs and studies of windfarms, liaise with the grid owner for grid connection agreements, perform electrical equipment calculations, prepare and negotiate technical specifications and provide CAPEX estimation for new projects.
For projects in construction you will support the project manager performing design reviews, QA/QC of electrical components and site inspections, witnessing FAT and SAT of electrical equipment. For the projects in operations you will provide technical support to the operations team in high and low voltage related topics, preparation of root cause analysis, new HV contracts and breakdown support.
To be successful in the role you need to have an academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Experience in electrical engineering working in projects under development, construction and/or operation of high voltage electrical assets (distribution, conventional generation, renewables) is essential. You are a technical focused person with good knowledge in Swedish and European electrical standards.
You have good communications skills, in both English and Swedish, and you are smooth with both internal and external stakeholders. You approach problems when they appear but you always try to anticipate to them. You are proactive, able to prioritize work, structured and accurate. You are analytic with a strong personal drive to deliver and you're also independent, reliable and able to perform well under pressure
Nice to have:
Experience running electrical modelling software like IPSA or digsilent
Experience preparing protection coordination studies
Being an expert in an specific electrical component (generators, transformers, protection relays, etc)
Knowledge in Norwegian standards
