Department: Manufacturing
Reports to: EHS Manager
Team Size: <5
Job description: To lead and coordinate the work in regards to Safety, Health & Sustainability on the site
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Implement safety standards and cardinal rules
Translate and adapt SOP's into local requirements
Training and meeting with supplier.
Organizing, planning and execution of Safety trainings and workshops
Work with safety awareness on the shop floor
Participate in meetings both internally and in the European network
Safety checks
Safety Rounds & Safety Committee
Reporting of Environmental requirements.
Registration to the Waste register
Yearly Environmental Report to local authority
Monthly internal reporting
Follow up on laws and regulations
Safety Advisor for Dangerous Goods.
Yearly report and support for the site in questions in regards to dangerous goods
APEX site expert
Site expert for continuous improvement
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Master or bachelor's degree in technical engineering or similar education.
At least 3-5 years' experience in similar position.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience in leading projects or qualified in Project Management.
Passion for training and guiding others in their projects.
Ability to create commitment to safety awareness on the site.
Safety Advisor certification desirable.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma - Continuous Improvement.
Trained to Green belt or higher level preferred.
