PDU Traffic Optimization (Part of Solution Area Media) is responsible for development of the MultiService Proxy (MSP) as well as the Media Delivery Network from Ericsson. We are a global organization with operations in Europe, North America and China.
As a member of our unit, you will be involved in all stages of end-to-end agile development in the area Traffic Optimization with focus on MultiService Proxy (MSP) and Media Delivery Network (MDN). This is a great opportunity to be part of content distribution architecture studies, creation of technical overviews and guidelines, dimensioning, traffic modeling, system tuning as well as being part of agile development teams. You will have the possibility of assisting Technical Sales Support in pre- and post-sales activities.

Qualifications
To join the Ericsson R&D Global Graduate Program you require:
• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• 0-2 years experience in ICT
• A high motivation and interest in working in the ICT area
• An interest in experimentation and innovation, an ability to think creatively and "outside the box"
• Self-esteem, self-knowledge, social ability and an interest and potential in leading other people
• A global attitude, willingness to relocate internationally
• The desire and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills and fluent in English and possibly one other language
• The ability to quickly adopt and enjoy using the latest technologies within SW and business development.
The candidate should be experienced in C++, Java or similar programming languages and have a thorough understanding of the full TCP/IP suite, with emphasis on application layer protocols such as HTTP. Knowledge of multi-threading and Linux kernel is an advantage.
