As Domain Architect for BI & Data Analytics you will have the responsibility to transform business visions, strategies and demands into enterprise architecture supporting Volvo Penta. This is done by identifying the change needed on business capabilities, information models, master data entities and IT solutions.
You will be part of Volvo Penta Digital & IT organization and report to VP Head of Data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the architectural work in the BI & Data Analytics domain
Develop IT strategies together with IT portfolio manager. The planning includes changes in the application portfolios, leveraging new technologies on the market and an overall scheduling of major changes
Support in transforming business needs to capabilities, requirements, and IT architecture
Provide support to initiatives, processes and teams
Participate in reviews of concepts and solutions
Ensure compliance with Volvo Group's frameworks and standards
Collaborate with architects in adjacent domains and throughout the Volvo Group
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Academic education in fields of Engineering, Data Science, Informatics or equivalent
Excellent understanding of and deep interest in how BI & Data Analytics technologies can be used to develop services, business processes and capabilities
Proven experience in working with architectural capability mapping, end to end data flows and tactical architectural planning
Knowledge in Advanced Analytics technologies and frameworks
Knowledge in Data Management, Data Governance and Data quality
Proficient in English, both verbal and written
