hela Sverige The Swedish Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF), the governing body of baseball and softball in Sweden, is seeking the guidance and expertise of a coaching and development expert to drive game development forward.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
• Helping construct a solid coaching structure and education platform
• Initiate and increase more baseball and softball youth players through school visits and youth activity
• Provide hands-on training and coach education to all regions of Sweden through player camps and coaching clinics (coach caravan program)
• Help develop a baseball/softball coaching manual that every coach in Sweden will have access to, which will include practice plans, drills for skills and creating a competitive environment at trainings.
• Help develop a talent identification program throughout Sweden to build and identify youth national team candidates and coaching candidates.
• Work closely with the Sweden Baseball & Softball committees to provide support in all areas
• Work closely with the coaches of the Swedish baseball and softball national teams to increase performance
The goal is to improve and establish the level of coaching programs and leave behind a sustainable program and coaching manual, with online access, to all coaches in Sweden to develop the skills and game forward.
A Baseball Committee & Softball Committee has already been established, with members of the development committee and coaches from Sweden's national teams. These committees will serve as a checks & balances of the program, and communicate regularly on a schedule of objectives and goals.
In regards to the Sweden National Team development, communication with the top coaches will be regular and mandatory. We will evaluate talent, test the players, and create a detailed schedule of events for the national teams (focusing this year, 2017, on the Senior European Softball Championships for Women in late June and the U18 European Qualifier in July for the Juniors in baseball).
The acting Baseball & Softball Development Committees will serve as the catalyst for all of these programs, with regular meetings to ensure the programs are being followed and reports on progress are being submitted. This committee will report directly to the SBSF on progress.

The office is located at Idrottens Hus, Skantsull, with Riksidrottsförbundet and around 30 other federations.
