NKT is looking for a Director Marketing for our business line Transmission to guide the global marketing direction for high voltage cable systems across HVDC and HVAC. This role offers an opportunity to shape how our solutions are positioned in the energy transition, working closely with business development, product management and sales teams. In this position, you will oversee global marketing planning, support strategic communication, and ensure consistent representation of the NKT brand across markets. Create cohesive marketing impact across markets
In this role, you manage the marketing agenda for high voltage cable systems by developing plans and materials that align with commercial and strategic needs. You coordinate campaigns, ensure quality in communication activities and maintain a consistent brand narrative. You also manage executive communication, product related messaging and customer facing engagements across global markets.
Your responsibility will be to:
* Develop and update marketing plans for HVDC and HVAC solutions
* Create materials for product launches, tenders and events
* Coordinate external agencies and internal contributors
* Support executive communication and reporting
* Represent NKT in industry forums and customer engagements
* Coach and develop your team and department
You will be managing a team of a few direct reports, currently located in Karlskrona. You will report to SVP Commercial & Tendering Transmission. The role is based in either Karlskrona (Sweden), Malmö (Sweden), Cologne (Germany) or Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and includes 20-70 travel days per year. We offer a hybrid work model where you can work partly from home (2 days per week).
Skilled communicator with a structured and collaborative approach
You are comfortable navigating an environment that evolves quickly and enjoy working with many stakeholders. You value clarity, organization and collaboration and can bring structure when circumstances require it. You communicate with ease, tailor your messages for different audiences and maintain composure during busy periods. You contribute to a positive team culture and enjoy working across functions.
You also have:
* MSc in communication, marketing or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of managing a communication team, with direct reports
* Familiarity with large infrastructure projects is preferrable
* Knowledge of marketing tools
* Experience in social media and image control.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English
