Director Global Business and Process Development
Establish and maintain of a global business plan and operational plan for all Geely Design Studios. Identify, drive and facilitate business growth opportunities such as organizational and studio development & establishments. Secure and plan all activities in line with the set global business and operation strategies and objective, by aligning and applying synergies cross studios.
Responsible for alignment of global effective and lean processes, methods and tools for the Geely Design Studios, to support the execution of design product and project plans.
Responsibilities and tasks
Business
• Establish and maintain a global business plan and operational plan for all Geely Design Studios
• Secure the activities in line with the set global business and operation strategies and objective, by aligning and applying synergies cross studios.
• Identify and facilitate business growth opportunities and studio development & establishments
• Facilitate the resolution of global business related issues utilizing the global functions and it's local liaisons
• Liaise and build strong relationship with relevant stakeholders in Geely, CEVT, GRI and other affiliates of Geely.
Resources
• Responsible for the global function direct reports within Finance, IT and potential other business related functions,
• The managerial responsibility includes all administrative tasks related to direct reports, provide resources by recruit and retain as well as coach, inspire and manage the team.
Process
• Drive the alignment of the global design product development main process cross Geely Design locations/sites in the following phases: Strategic, Advanced, Concept and Industrialization phase
• Drive and facilitate resolution of global process related issues
Support
• Global Design business strategy & objectives development
• Local business development initiatives
• Sub-process and local adaptations
Requirements
• Min. 5 years' experience from the automotive industry.
• Min. 5 years' experience from Process and Business development functions
• Experience in line- and/or project management
• Extensive understanding and knowledge of automotive product development and product design processes
• University degree in business, design, engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience from working in an global environment/organization
• Fully proficient in English both written and verbally
• High level of self-initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and sense of business.
