The organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle, from strategic development to maintaining the products on the market. We drive the transition from conventional powertrains to electromobility and secure a stepwise implementation in different segments and regions. The organization develops and drives the Electromobility product portfolio for Trucks & Buses as well creating opportunities for all business areas within Volvo Group. Electromobility is one of the keys to achieving sustainable mobility for the future. We are now looking for a new Director over Electric Propulsion in the field of Medium Duty Vehicles.

You will be a part of the Product Management (PM) department in Electromobility at Group Trucks Technology?. The PM department is divided into four areas, and you will be responsible for one of these areas, managing a team of six that will grow and develop. You report directly to VP Product Management Electromobility.
Your responsibility
As Director Medium Duty Electric propulsion, you will be responsible of the product management of electric propulsion over time in medium duty installations, from start of industrialization development to customer care with an eye on budget as well as quality in the deliveries and always with the customer in focus. Driving the electromobility propulsion evolution over time in with a base in the electromobility product roadmaps and with CAST (Common Architecture Shared Technology) in mind. You will be a gateway and support in the dialogue to and from electromobility with collaboration as a guiding star.

Qualifications:
Successful track record in inspiring, motivating, and leading high performing teams
Very experienced (+10 years) in product development
Several years of successful experience leading projects in a cross functional and global environment
Experience of agile working methods
Documented experience of working with electric propulsion
University degree within engineering or equivalent
Excellent English skills, written and spoken
It is meritorious if you have...
A commercial driver's license, C or CE is meriting
A PMP certification
