In this position you will be working within the Vattenfall IT organization based in Amsterdam, Berlin, Gliwice, Katowice, Kolding, and Stockholm.
Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT infrastructure services for the entire Vattenfall Group and we are now looking for the right candidate to join us as Director CIO Office.
Main purpose of this role:
Director CIO Office oversees functions such as IT strategy, governance, performance management, compliance and the definition of IT ways of working (for example, common methodologies, processes). The position focuses on ensuring that the IT organization "does the right things" through strategy, governance, instructions as well as "doing things right" through organizational, operational model development, process management frameworks, compliance framework and performance management. The Director CIO Office also ensure sufficient communication in the IT organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance - as well as performance management frameworks and metrics.
• IT process governance and framework and ensure implementation and follow up of process performance.
• Create an IT compliance risk assessment framework and periodically assess the regulatory, commercial and organizational, inherent and residual IT compliance risks.
• Identify the associated IT compliance control gaps and oversee the documentation, implementation and testing of the entire IT compliance control portfolio.
• Develop and direct IT compliance control monitoring programs to ensure IT compliance-related risks are managed to the appropriate level of acceptable residual risk.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of the IT strategy (coordination with Architecture, Vendor and Sourcing strategies)
• Establish and implement continuous-improvement programs for the IT organization.
• Stays current with developments in new market trends and the leadership of enterprise IT.
• Responsibility for IT quality management.
• Coordination of Communication within the IT department.
• Drive and facilitate effective collaboration and communications between the IT organization and the user and customer communities.
• Manage the communication for IT
We expect you have:
• Relevant University degree.
• 8-10 years of direct or indirect managerial experience in an international, complex organization with a clear business customer centric approach.
• Successful track record in leading through managers by vision, foster cooperation and achieving results.
• A Value driven management approach. You as a manager act as a role model connected to our leadership criteria's, Clear, Visible & Courageous and you support and drive the right behaviors connected to our principles Positive Open Active Safety.
• High collaboration skills ensuring trustful and effectiveness professional relationship.
• Excellent communications & cross cultural skills.
