WHAT UTOPIANS DO
We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we're building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection.
WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE
As a Digital Marketing Director you'll be responsible for the strategy, management and execution of digital marketing - communication field at Utopia Music. We are looking for an experienced marketer that will lead, supervise and implement various branding and sales tactics in order to help us grow. You will collaborate with all the relevant departments like relationship, products, commercial and data.
FOCUS OF THE ROLE
Developing digital marketing strategy by studying the industry; tracking changes in trends and internal solutions; identifying customers and their current and future needs; and monitoring the competition.
Contributing to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing directives.
Obtaining digital market share by developing digital marketing plans and programs for each solution and directing promotional support.
Maintaining relations with customers by organising and developing specific customer-relations programs and determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
Providing short- and long-term digital marketing forecasts and reports by directing digital marketing research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
Influencing present and future solutions by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
Developing new uses for existing solutions by analysing statistics regarding digital marketing development; acquiring and analysing data; and consulting with internal and external sources.
Maintaining research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
Achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual digital marketing budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Completing digital marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
Maintaining digital marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
WHAT YOU BRING
Coaching and subordinate involvement
Managing digital marketing processes
Self-motivated yet partner-focused
Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
Able to develop budgets
Familiar with financial planning and strategy
THE IDEAL SKILLSET
Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or a related field.
Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
Experience in setting up and optimising PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
