SenionLab is looking for a seasoned Development Manager to drive strategic growth of the company's product portfolio. Reporting to the CEO, the Development manager will be charged with the leadership of the technology development at SenionLab. We expect that you are an experienced and proud programmer with leader skills and a passion for software development and testing methodologies. As one of the first hires, this individual is expected to emerge as a leader who will drive top line revenue growth for SenionLab.
Position deliverables:
• Initiate and participate in improvements, both in our products and in our ways of working with automated testing and agile methods.
• Develop SenionLab's system architectures and lead the design and maintenance of our software products.
• Alternate your every day work between coding, leadership and customer relationships in the growing entrepreneurial environment you are part of.
• Network with key industry movers & shakers to evince and articulate SenionLab's technology leadership.
• Scout for junior development talent and be responsible for hiring, mentoring junior team members.
Specific knowledge and skills:
• 6+ years of development experience in the computer technology industry.
• Excellent presentation skills, Comfortable presenting to senior executives.
• Proficiency in Java programming, object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Test driven software development
• Experience of agile methods with track record of contributing in a team environment
• Experience hiring & mentoring staff
• Must possess executive presence & exudes a "get it done" attitude.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Master of Science within Computer Science or similar
Other valuable experiences:
• 6+ years of development experience in the computer technology industry.
