Development Engineer AC compressor and brackets
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The group Engine front end system and electrics, ENMDF, is responsible for the development of the engine 's electromechanical components, belt transmission and Air conditioning compressors. We are now facing exciting times with the development of new technologies in cooperation within the TRATON Group.
ENMDF is divided in two teams, team electric and team belt transmission and AC compressor and now we searching for a new team member in team belt transmission and AC compressor.

Your role
In the position of development engineer within team belt transmission and AC compressor you will be responsible for development of Scania/TRATON 's future components that the team is responsible for.
You will lead the collaboration work within Scania and together with suppliers to develop state of art component for our future applications.
Our work is carried out in a structured way by following our milestones and development process
Examples of tasks:
* Responsible for AC compressor integration, setting requirements and assuring the quality of complete product development.
* Develop brackets for the components.
* Plan your activities to fulfil project deliveries.
* Coordinate activities within Scania/Traton and with the supplier.
* Analyse test results and draw the correct conclusions.
Qualifications
You have an engineering degree Bsc. within mechanical, electronics or mechatronics alternatively experience and knowledge about our area of responsibility with a drive to learn.
CATIA or CAD experience 2 years.
You can communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken and have at least basic Swedish knowledge, both written and spoken.

* You are open-minded and focused in terms of finding ways to solve technical challenges.
* You are a positive person that takes initiative, without prestige, who likes to work both in a group and independently.
* You have good communication skills since the position requires contact with several different development teams and departments.
