Our unit, Power Amplifier Design, is responsible for R&D regarding Power Amplifiers (PA). We are designing PA units for the radio base stations of today as well as for the future. Most of our work is done in projects. We are working close together with other areas like systemization, algorithm development, transmitter design, test development and production. We are also in contact with component engineers and external component suppliers.
We are continuously developing our skills and we are using the best and most modern tools. We are searching for a PA designer with experience in relevant field.
As a PA designer your tasks will be in the area of research and development of Power Amplifiers for Radio Units in our networks. The job will include requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, as well as documentation.

• Specification
• Evaluation of components and circuits solutions
• Simulations
• Link budgets
• Schematic design
• Verification
• Production support
The work is done according to our processes and documentation is an essential part along with collaboration with other designers.

Position Qualifications
Core Competences:
• Knowledge of Wireless Communication systems
• Experience of Radio design
• Experience of PA design
• Experience in simulation tools, ADS and AWR
• Experience from simulation in HFSS is regarded as a merit
• Experience of the PCB cad tool CADENCE is regarded as merit
• Fluent in English, speaking and writing
• Good team working skills
• Product Development Knowledge
• Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
• Business Understanding
• Lean & Agile Knowledge and Skills

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• MSc/PhD in Electronics, Physics or equivalent
