hela Sverige You will work in close cooperation with other power design areas and with global power system suppliers. You will interact with design disciplines across Ericsson, such as radio design, system design and building practices. Co-operation with global production sites and other design centers in Sweden, China and Canada is part of the daily work.
Board Power Design at Lindholmen is responsible for research, development and maintenance of Board Power solutions to the majority of the Ericsson Product Portfolio. We are a part of the Ericsson's global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks. At our site we are four sections forming a competence center with responsibility to provide power solutions to the Ericsson organization.
The job is in the area of product development and includes:
Board Power design (DC/DC converters, power architectures, POL converters, EMI filters)
Design and evaluation of components, protection circuitry, supervision and control functions
Contribute to the strategic analysis of future design trends
Act as mentor within the technical area
Application of simulation models and power budgets
Schematic design and support of board layout
Production support and verification

Board Power Design Radio is looking for an experienced designer with a deep interest in power solutions and analogue design. You take initiative and are willing to adopt new methods and techniques. You work well independently, but you are also a team player with good communication skills.
You have worked some years within the field and have:
BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or equal
Three years of experience from analogue design or equal
Understanding of firmware and software design e.g. C, Labview and HPVEE
Skills in schematic drawing and experience from a laboratory environment (instruments, measurements, etc.)
Fluent in Swedish and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
You have an analytical approach, a strong drive for results and customer focus. You have good communication and co-operation skills and the ability to take the initiative and adapt to new methods and techniques. Most of all you have an inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge.
