Description

SCO IBM (Industrial Base Management) is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class packaging material and converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions with a clear environmental focus.
The Finishing department within Supply Chain is responsible for taking ownership for the end part of our converting processes.
We are now strengthening the part of our responsibility connected to Carton Gable Top converting process. Tetra Rex® package is a well established package concept globally and has several locations of production.
In this role you will be part of a skilled team focusing on the specific challenges around Tetra Rex Finishing lines consisting of Creasing/Cutting & Side sealing, but also has the possibility to influence future strategy and focus areas.
The position is based in Lund and requires approximately 20% of travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Be an active part in developing the Carton Gable Top converting process both to enable new products and to improve performance
• Improve the efficiency by actively eradicating losses identified in the process
• Define the need, explore the potential solutions, develop, verify and validate the solution in collaboration with colleagues in converting factories and/or suppliers. Recommend solutions
• Be the key person in transferring knowledge and eliminating start up issues when implementing new equipment
• Writing reports and instructions in order to establish the basic condition for future production
Qualifications
You are passionate about your work and you take ownership of your activities. Your communication style is open and you find it easy to collaborate with others within and outside the organisation. Analytical reasoning and a structured way of working is important.
You preferably possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. It is a merit if you have experience in TPM / World Class Manufacturing methods or similar.
To be successful in this position you need to have at least 5 years experience in working with automated production. This experience can be either from a developing, maintaining or operational point of view.
If you have been working in any of our Carton Gable Top converting factories this is seen as extra valuable background.
Your English skills are good, written as well as spoken.
