hela Sverige Do you have experience designing data centers? On behalf of atNorth, we are seeking an experienced and self-propelled Design Manager to join our development organization. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing scale-up company.
atNorth is a leading Nordic data center services company that offers sustainable, cost effective and scalable high-performance computing across the Nordics. The company operates seven data centers in strategic locations across the Nordics, with two more to open during the year to come.
The Role
As Design Manager, you will have a key role leading the data center design as atNorth is building new data centers in the Nordics and the design manager is responsible for the CSA MEP scope. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design process is robust and delivered in a timely manner to ensure project timeframes are achieved and in line with the delivery expectations. Your responsibilities include the physical building/environment and infrastructure design of the site. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business partners and suppliers to secure growth projects.
Main tasks: Leading and coordinating design projects to ensure design objectives are met.
Developing and managing design strategies and guidelines for the organization.
Collaborating with other departments to understand design needs and integrate the design process into various projects.
Assessing and selecting external design agencies or consultants to complement internal design expertise.
Communicating with stakeholders to clarify design requirements and ensure their expectations are met.
The role is placed in Kista, Stockholm. You will report to Director of Design.
Is this you?
To be successful in this position we are looking for someone with experience within design and experience from working in the data center industry. You have at least a bachelor's degree within mechanical or electrical engineering, built environment engineering or similar. It is meritorious if you have experience in sustainability and naturally incorporate those aspects into your work.
In this role English is mandatory and it is favorable that you have skills in a Nordic language.
