We currently have the following job opening;

Design Engineers - Upper BIW

As a Design Engineer in the Upper Body In White (BIW) department you will be working closely with our System Managers. Together you will develop the most optimized concept in Catia V5, which will meet the targets for Performance, Weight and Cost for our Module Team Upper BIW. The material for our designs is  a mix of sheet metal, aluminum and others and we should push the limits of what is possible to produce, both today and with future technology (advanced engineering).

We prefer that you are experienced engineer in the automotive industry, or has a natural talent with drive in our design tools Catia V5. We can offer opportunities to work in either the early concept phases (requires BIW experience) or during the later stages of industrialization, Launch.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Develop and design components and systems to meet requirements
• Secure packaging feasibility within given frames in conjunction with the vehicle packagin engineers
• Support of the defined release routines and release plans

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. Eng. or similar
• Experience of 3D modelling in Catia V5
• Experience in working with PLM systems, preferably TeamCenter
• Experience from sheet metal development within the automotive industry
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Motivation and willingness to go the extra mile and to develop yourself within the company
