Application Delivery Gothenburg is an IT delivery organization for development and maintenance of IT solutions for the Volvo Group and selected external customers. Currently we maintain and operate more than 1200 applications and run some 120 concurrent IT projects. We are about 1100 employees and 400 external consultants in our deliveries.
Application Delivery Department Manager SAP:
We are now looking for a Department Manager for our SAP department; the department consist of 100 employees divided into 5 groups. The Department Manager is responsible for all HR activities and all IT deliveries from the department.
In this role you will be reporting to the Site Manager, Application Delivery Gothenburg and be part of the management team for the site.
Main responsibilities
• HR (competence development, salary setting, recruitment, personal business plan)
• Finance (accountable for budgets and production results)
• Accountable to reach defined KPI targets and other performance targets
• Accountable for implementing directives from Global Functional mgrs
• processesses and other working methods
• structural changes and sourcing decisions
Application Delivery Department Manager:
Managers in Application Delivery needs to have the ability to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. Since Application Delivery is a matrix between global functional responsibilities and Application Delivery site responsibilities it is a requirement on every manager in the organisation to actively cooperate in a way that bridges the potential gaps that are inevitable in every matrix organisation. It is also essential that all applicants have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to satisfy customer requests.
This position require the ability to lead an organisation with many stakeholders
• Proven experience as leader of leaders is an advantage
• Ability to establish and maintain good business relations with your internal partners
• Experience from, and knowledge in the SAP domain will be considered as an advantage
• Required leadership skills:
• have the courage and ability to communicate visions and objectives
• have proven capacity to execute against set targets
• have proven capacity to plan and delegate
• have an interest and capacity for developing people
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required
