Job purpose
As Delivery Lead you are accountable for making sure your service, for example alarmchain backend, performs according to stakeholder expectations. The responsibility is end-to-end including infrastructure and applications operations. You are responsible for planning and organizing the work of your virtual team including ongoing delivery, projects and budget for your service. An important part of the role is to improve the way IT Operations work and increase the feedback to stakeholders.
You will make sure we automate to increase quality and speed and use improved monitoring to minimize incidents and problems. As a delivery lead you are responsible for balancing projects, lifecycle and service requests based on KPIs using Kanban and agile methods. You will drive improvements to automate for increase quality and speed and use improved monitoring to minimize incidents and problems.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintaining quality of service
- Setting and keeping Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Incident reporting and management
- Own service roadmap and feature management
- Managing service sprints including activity breakdown using agile methods and Kanban
- Growth and Capacity Management
- Life Cycle Management
- Improvement activities and ways of working
To complete these tasks, you are expected to be able to run projects using agile methods that delivers in sprints. You are also expected to plan for always having the correct and sufficient resources available at all times. On top of that you must be able to bridge the gap between design and implementation activities by working with team members and architects.
Another key responsibility is to improve your and the teams way of working. Therefore you expected to make sure we automate as much as possible, improve monitoring and increase feedback to stakeholders. Thorough documentation is also important to ensure seamless handover to the 24x7 support team.
Required Qualifications
- Technical understanding
- Experience from working with agile methods
- Project management skills
- Documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA)
- Experience in IT Operations and IT Service Delivery
