We are looking for engineers with experience in the Datacom field for development jobs in several different customer projects, both major international customer but also smaller customers with very specific requirements. The tasks at hand requires that you understand and have in-depth knowledge in Datacom and scripting, development or testing in this field. When working at ALTEN as a consultant you will have much contact with our customers and with your colleagues. We see that you are a team player, positive and driven, to succeed in this role. You will also work close with your manager so you can get the assignment you want and develop yourself both proffessionally as well as personally.
With the description above in mind we are looking for candidates with the following skills and attitude:
• In-depth knowledge of MPLS, SDN, NFV, BGP, OSPF.
• Experience working with IP protocols.
• Experience in C++ or Python.
• Proven track record of high quality code.
• Team results matter more than individual results.
• Engineering is not a job, it's a passion!
You will be working with state of the art technologies, either to participate in the development of the 5G backbone or in high availability communication systems. Depending on your background and interest you will choose for yourself the most suitable assignment of the large number of openings that we currently have! What's most important for you? The team?
