As a Data Scientist / Model Developer you will:

Be responsible for leveraging statistical learning algorithms to make predictions in real time with focus on online purchases
analyze and derive insights from large, and sometimes untidy, data sets
partner with various teams within the Qliro organization. For example, you will work with the Credit Analytics team to develop credit strategies, the Credit Research team to develop new features, and the Engineering teams to get your models into production.

We believe you have:

• a passion for understanding data, as well as how it relates to our products and the problems you are trying to solve
• a background within a quantitative field, such engineering, physics, statistics or similar
• ability to communicate the results of your work in a clear and effective manner
• strong knowledge of some type of statistical package like R, Python (scipy, scikit-learn)
• experience working with SQL or other programming languages is a big plus
• experience with large data sets and distributed computing is a plus

Qliro's Decision Science team within the Credit Department is now looking for a Data Scientist / Model Developer. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and using machine learning to turn insights into real products on a regular basis.
