Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving customers, dealers and distributors in some 60 markets through 16 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate Financial Services finance about one-third of Scania's truck sales. Over 1000 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 160.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 100 bn SEK of assets financed and more than 100.000 insurance policies. At Scania Financial Services group we have been on the journey towards a leaner constantly improving and sustainable organization for some time, and are now in a combined operational and building phase with a focus on implementing new processes and rolling out a new platform, supporting our vision. To secure the value of our new platform, and enable a more data-driven way of working, we are now looking for a Data Product Lead. The aim is to establish a global network within Scania Financial Services, as well as be part of a larger network within the whole of Scania, with a focus on data management and information governance, to change the way of working and how we are developing our business.

Are you also logical and analytical-minded and able to seamlessly communicate technical content with the aim of changing people's way of thinking and taking decisions? Are you also experienced in leading projects and initiatives, and willing to continue to do that from time to time? If you are still reading and have answered yes to all of the above questions, you could be our new Data Product Lead.
The role will be located in Södertälje, Sweden, at the Head Office for Financial Services. At the Head Office, we are about 50 people working to support the local business units in different ways, all from daily support in handling credit scoring for a large customer to strategically developing new ways of financing our portfolio and how to increase our contribution to the local business and customers. As Data Product Lead, your main goal will be to establish and drive the community for Information Management within Financial Services.
Main areas of responsibility:
Along with playing an important role in the change journey, you will be responsible for:
• Execution of the day-to-day information owner activities.
• Appoint to maintain and uphold integrity, quality and knowledge about the information, the underlying data and its source, ensuring maximum asset value.
• Covering tasks through the entire information asset life cycle and according to all relevant data governance principles and policies in Scania and Scania Financial Services.
• Tasks such as ensuring compliance and security of the data as well as responsibility for protecting the data, while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance.
Who are you?
We see that you are driven and result-oriented with high communicative skills. You are also pedagogic and have good interpersonal skills and are skilled in building networks. You have a high service level approach and are a good team player. Furthermore, you have/are:
• Relevant education or equivalent experience as a Data Product Lead
• Domain expertise and content knowledge of all data and data assets in the designated information domain
• A proficient user of designated Data Asset management tools and standards
• Knowledge within information modelling and information architecture competence on tactical a level
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and a good command of Swedish are desirable
The job offers international contact with our Finance companies. This also means that you are expected to travel from time to time. In this position, you will be reporting to the Scania Financial Head of information and technology management at Scania Financial Services.
