We are offering an opportunity for a highly motivated, structured and organised data management professional to join our Stockholm-based Channels department, reporting to the SVP of Channels. You will be an integral part of helping Kambi reach the growth targets set up for the coming years by maximizing the value of our data, contributing to raising the data maturity of the business and driving the data governance agenda. Responsibilities:
Perform the ownership role for a portfolio of frontend data as a shared enterprise asset.
Act as a single point of contact and exercise leadership and accountability for frontend data related matters across the enterprise.
Facilitate collaboration between functions and organisational units to ensure the business value of entrusted data assets is maximized.
Advocate the culture of data sharing to maximize availability of data and realization of its business value.
Support prioritization and budgeting for frontend data improvement projects coordinating with the SVP of Channels.
Undertake the operational responsibility to ensure the business and regulatory context for data is documented in enterprise-wide data catalogue. Set data quality standards and carry out necessary tasks to achieve those holistically.
Coordinate with Enterprise Data Management department to align with enterprise data strategy and standards.
Provide continuous support and advice to stakeholders in respect of data management related matters.
Develop a strong expertise of underlying data and its business use - act as an advisor to the Product organisation.
Act as an expert within Channels department for BI & analytics dashboards built in Looker ensuring those deliver strong and fresh insights.
Manage and grow the portfolio of use cases realized through Looker taking the ownership for the scope definition and data requirements.
Liaise with Data Services department to align with Looker standards and act as the first line of support in case of any inquiries.
Skills and experience:
Previous experience with data management as a discipline along with exposure to data governance concepts, best practices and tools is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to perform job responsibilities collaboratively as well as independently, and effectively in a demanding environment.
Ability to take ownership and drive implementation of the initiatives powered by data across several departments.
Strong stakeholder management at all levels.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to meet business needs.
We believe the successful candidate has:
2+ years working in a similar role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in data-related subject
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong analytical mind and a passion for application of data
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with both business and technical minded colleagues
Positive attitude towards challenges and proactively solving problems
