We are now hiring a Data Engineer who wants to be part of influencing tomorrow's climate-smart society, and driving the development forward.
The Asset Information Management (AIM) organization is looking for YOU, a Data Engineer, who will with specialist knowledge actively drive the further expansion of asset reporting landscape in Sweden. You will be responsible for the technical implementation of data processing solutions with focus on asset related reporting for the Swedish business in alignment with and support from the international data and reporting team of the department.
Your assignment
• Explore asset data, identify required data streams, implement data pipelines for business processes relying on asset information (like environmental reporting, TAX processes, KPI reporting and alike)
• Act as interface to stakeholders / data requestors within the BU Heat Sweden for implementation of solutions
• Create visualizations of information, dashboards and reports and support its operation and maintenance
• Evaluate and establish appropriate practices for quality monitoring, cleansing / validation techniques to ensure high data quality, perform quality control within the reporting scope
• Be part of the AIM scrum team that is developing data platforms and our asset information warehouse
Your qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Academic degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields
• Knowledge about energy business processes and active interest in current developments in the energy markets (energy transition, heat transition, sector coupling) is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing, data processing chains (ETL), DWH systems, DB technologies, and data lake environments
• Good knowledge about reporting and data visualization, experience in PowerBI
• Programming skills, experience with Python / Pandas
• Good experience and willingness to work with large data sets, experience of working with data analytics is an advantage
• Experience in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
• Experience in working in international and agile environments
• Fluency in Swedish and English in speech and writing
The role reports to the Director of Asset Information Management and is part of a dynamic international team with other skilled specialists. You will work closely with business users in Sweden and other data engineers and analysts in Sweden and other countries.
