About the role
As a data engineer in our engagement team, you will be part of an agile, cross-functional team creating an engaging experience for our customers when they have their energy solution installed at home. You will be part of designing the foundation of a scalable technical platform enabling advanced machine learning models to frictionless run helping our clients save costs and reduce emissions.
You will design and implement pipelines to support capabilities for our software application and our ML models. You will work closely with developers, ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, and embedded engineers to figure out data requirements and ensure that data is properly collected, transformed, and modeled for use in our data products
You will be part of a creative, driven team, excited to build cutting-edge tech solutions
What we would like you to have
From a technical perspective, we would like you to have:
• 2-3 YoE as a Data Engineer or similar roles
• Curiosity in finding new sources of data to bring our product forward
• Passion for complexity and solutions in state-of-the-art infrastructure
• Experience working with a variety of data sources and technologies
• Experience in data pipeline frameworks such as DataFlow, Spark and large-scale Data Warehouses e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake
• Programming experience in languages such as Python, Java or Kotlin
Nice-to-have:
• Google Cloud Platform experience
