You will help to build our data infrastructure and enable us to steer our company with analytics. Data is deeply embedded into the culture of Avinode Group. We rely on it to guide our decision making and improve the customer experience across all our products.
What you will do
Develop and implement a data infrastructure strategy that supports the goals of our company.
Build and maintain large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines to and from diverse data sources and customer tools, such as Intercom and Microsoft Dynamics.
You believe in things like automation and monitoring, and the freedom they bring.
Leverage best practices in continuous integration and delivery. We ship code daily to our customers and we want the same from our data infrastructure.
Enable us to implement more advanced analytics.
You will report into the Head of Insight. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization.
Who you are
You are a strong communicator who builds relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
You are fluent in translating between two languages - business wishes and technical solutions.
You are curious and capable of tackling loosely defined problems. You make things happen.
You have professional experience with data modeling, storage, and access techniques. Strong SQL skills are a must. You have expertise with concepts like a data warehouse, ETL, and star schema.
Java skills and experience with data science are an advantage.
