Our Exciting Opportunity
Group Data and Analytics is a function with the aim to craft and execute our Analytics and AI strategy, vision and to ensure multi-functional execution for Ericsson to transform into an Intelligent enterprise. AI and Data is a key theme become data driven. We continue to build up world class competence in this area to increase performance, deliver intelligence and to provide secure and scalable development, deployment and continued operations of Analytics and AI solutions including Data Services.
The Data architects identify the enterprise data needs, design and maintain the data assets to meet the customer needs. Further, use master blueprints to guide data integration, data flows, data assets management and align data modelling. Develop strategy to evolve data products and services with the purpose to achieve data consistency and performance across the analytics/data solutions. Support data management with for instance data governance, storage and operations.
The Data Architect will collaborate closely with other Data Architects as well as Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Developers, Product Managers and Key partners
You will
Develop a strategy to quickly evolve data products and services to take advantage of Ericsson business opportunities
Design plans to meet current and long-term data requirements
Identify data storage and processing requirements. Recommend new technologies to improve the data assets
Establish Data Architecture - evaluate existing data architecture specifications and develop a roadmap for the future
Design end to end Data Architectures taking both specific business needs and our enterprise blueprints in to account to make sure we have efficient reuse and operations
Lead the application development team on integration requirement between application and data layer. It is important that you are a practitioner as well as a lead, and that you have hands on experience to be able to practically guide other team members
Deliver Data Architecture Artefacts (a) Outline of Strategic Data Requirements (b) Data Architecture Design and Integration Design to meet the requirements (c) Data Flow Design (d) Data Models (e) Data Value Chains (f) Support (and use) with Standard Business Vocabulary for data and components (g) Alignment with Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Data Model and Reference Data Model (h) Implementation Roadmap for all data in scope
Data Architects may work at an enterprise level or functional level. They may specialize in data warehousing, data marts and their associated integration processes

To be successful in the role you must have
Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Modelling and Design skills and experience
General IT System and Process knowledge
Demonstrable ability to lead data and/or analytics architects
Business understanding and data requirements analysis
Knowledge-sharing and Collaboration Skills
Presenting & Communicating Info
Understands business value and committed to enable value delivery through data
Intrapersonal skills and ability to empower and mentor team members
Preferred Qualification and Experience Requirements
An appropriate degree in computer science or related disciplines; and relevant industry experience
Experience in Data & Analytics
Experience of working in data management and governance, implementation in larger organizations is an advantage
Detailed technical skills and experience requirements
Any of the experiences and skills listed below is a merit, the more the better, but not all of them are required
Cloud Agnostic Data Platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud
Cloud Native Data Platforms (Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift)
Azure services - Azure Data factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB)
Designing data products
Publishing data using data marketplace platform
Authorization methods including Role Based Access Control and Policy Based Access Control.
Data mesh implementation and federated model for data product development
Relational Data Modeling with 3NF and Data Vault in Analytics
Data ingestion and provisioning over APIs
Batch and streaming processing (for instance Apache Spark, Storm) and relevant back-end languages such as Python and SQL
Modern analytics architectures including cloud native, microservices architecture, virtualization, Kubernetes and containerization
Messaging, (for instance Apache Kafka)
NoSQL DBs, like Cassandra and MongoDB
RDBMS such Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB or PostGRE, both row based and columnar based
Software Development including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Testing and Configuration Management, GIT/Gerrit
Experience with ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, BODS etc.)
Big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig, MAPR or Enterprise data warehousing initiatives
ElasticSearch (ELK stack)
BI Tools Such as Tableau, PowerBI, and also web-based dashboards and solutions
