Electromobility is changing the automotive world. Volvo Group Electromobility is growing rapidly, and we are now looking for a Cybersecurity engineer who is passionate about security, complex forefront technology, problem solving and the future of electromobility.
This is us, your new colleagues
We are the Safety & Cybersecurity team, a part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology's Electromobility organization. Our responsibility is to ensure safety and cybersecurity over time for our electromobility products and to promote a world class safety and cybersecurity culture.
We do this by developing strategy, tactics, and also by operational support to our colleagues in the Electromobility organization. Our team is expanding with a Cybersecurity Engineer, that can develop cybersecurity plans, update cybersecurity management processes, establishing risk management strategies and ensuring that risks remain at an acceptable level for the organization.
The Electromobility department combines the benefits of a large international company with the feeling of working at a small company. There is close collaboration between different parts of the organization from sales and purchasing to workshops and labs all located in the modern, inspiring facility CampX.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be a team player with strong collaboration/networking skills and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver. You also need to be open-minded, self-motivated, and meticulous with independent critical thinking in your problem-solving approach. You have experience from Cyber Security in automotive industry, system development, software development with great attitude and willingness to learn and take more responsibility with time in practical automotive applications.
You have worked with identification and management of cyber security risks and development of security requirements including monitoring and detection of cyber security attacks.
In addition, we believe you have the following:
• Master of Science in Computer engineering, electrical engineering and Electronics engineering or similar.
• Understanding of upcoming Cyber Security regulations (UNECE R155) and standards (ISO/SAE 21434 Road vehicles - Cybersecurity engineering)
• Experience from performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment and have been part of the Cyber security concept phase.
• Implementing cybersecurity risk management frameworks and methodologies
• Analyzing and consolidating organization's quality and risk management practices.
• Making decisions to manage and mitigate risks.
• Building a cybersecurity risk-aware environment.
• Communicating, presenting and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
