About the position
Höganäs is a world leader in the metal powder industry. We work continuously to develop new, and improve our existing, production processes and the consequent processes used by our customers to produce powder metal components
As a process development engineer, sintering and heat treatment, at Customer Development Center EMEA, you will be part of an agile team responsible for customer process development as well as internal and external component campaigns. You will drive heat treatment development activities and projects and be responsible for the quality of heat-treated components going to our customers.
At Höganäs we primarily organize work as assignments and projects, which is why project management and participating roles in development and investment projects are included as a natural part of the job.
The position is based in Höganäs, Sweden.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a master's degree in engineering with an interest in heat treatment. It is advantageous, but not necessary, to have a few years of experience from preferably the powder metal industry as well as knowledge about heat treatment processes and equipment. However most importantly, you should be curious and willing to constantly learn more. We see you as a driven team player who is not afraid to question established truths or contribute with complementary approaches. You should have a knack for problem solving and an ability to focus on details while still understanding the big picture.
You will work in an international environment and need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English.
