As Proposal Manager, based in Västerås, you will take responsibility for driving and coordinating the proposal development work within a global team of expert competence, from bid decision to closed deal. Your team includes Sales, Operations, Product Management, Supply, Customer Services, Legal and Finance. Together you will design the business
setup and the commercial offer as well as the product solution and system delivery. Creativity and team-work is key to succeed with proposals of various complexity and size targeting a diverse market in Europe, Sweden, the Middle East and Africa. Often you will find yourself driving parallel proposals with multiple teams involving remote ABB units, external partners and sub-suppliers. High quality cannot be compromised within short and critical deadlines. Count on a fast-paced and rewarding challenge with us.
You have a business oriented mindset and experience from managing smaller project teams. A background in proposal writing as well as managing contracts through sales or execution of system delivery projects will be advantageous. Since you will interact with colleagues and clients all over the world, your English skills must be excellent, both in speech and writing. Your Swedish skills, both in speech and writing is meriting. Any additional language skills and experience from SalesForce.com is also meriting.
