THE ROLE
The post holder will be a senior member of the finance leadership team of EMEA and the driving force being the implementation of an effective finance organization. He/she will be responsible for all financial aspects of the country (or group of countries) assigned to him/her, including driving the continual growth in profitability, both organically and through acquisition. Working closely with the Regional General Managers of the given territory, and supported by Financial and Business Controllers, the incumbent will review the financial performance, produce business reviews, and suggest action to rectify adverse, or capitalize on favorable trends. He/she will be responsible for the adherence of group policy/procedures and strategy within his area of control.
ABOUT YOU
You have demonstrable experience in financial leadership within a country or group of countries in a fast paced, business to business environment. Leading by example you not only provide strategic direction, but enjoy getting involved in the hands-on element of financial controlling.
As a proven leader, you have gained valuable experience in recognising opportunities for both ensuring and maximising business revenues through the evaluation of business proposals and acquisitions. You naturally have a drive for results and are well versed in driving cost saving initiatives across the business.
In addition to working with the business to determine pricing structures and maximising cash, you are well versed in risk analysis and mitigation.
You are adaptable, change and innovation is an environment in which you work best, always adjusting and modifying your approach to reach your goals whilst maintaining effectiveness. You enjoy the challenge that working with changing environments and unexpected obstacles provides.
Throughout your strong operational experience, you have worked with a range of departments within a corporate organisation, engaging the business at all levels from entry to senior executives, always professional you have proven your ability to build lasting relationships that are mutually beneficial.
