Axis' Corporate Governance Department is seeking a Corporate Governance Specialist, Risk and Compliance to join our growing team in Lund and contribute to our success journey!
Who is your future team?
Get ready to join an outstanding team of legal professionals where we manage the following areas for the entire Axis Group: (i) Enterprise Risk Management; (ii) Strategic Intelligence; (iii) Axis' Policy Framework; (iv) Anti-Corruption Compliance Program; (v) Whistleblower Program, and (vi) Sustainability Governance. Corporate Governance is a part of the finance department, and you will be a key member in our team, as well as an invaluable stakeholder towards the organization. What will you do here as Corporate Governance Specialist, Risk and Compliance?
Your main task will be to drive and enhance the Axis Risk Management Framework and expect to place an emphasis on the ESG risks from a double materiality perspective. You will also maintain our policy framework and support our other areas of responsibility when needed.
In this role you will:
* Conduct risk assessments, diligently document the results, and maintain Axis' risk register.
* Improve our risk reporting capabilities and present the conclusions to relevant stakeholders in an inspiring way.
* Support the development of risk management in other parts of the organization.
* Expand the scope of Axis Risk Management to include third-party risks.
* Perform compliance mapping.
* Maintain the Axis Policy Framework, by reviewing policies and supporting the organization.
* Lead and support investigations.
You will be working with all parts of the organization both in Lund and our subsidiaries; thus, some travel may be required.

We'd love to hear that you have:
* A law degree (LL.M) from a Swedish University or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably from an international company, law firm or auditing firm.
* Strong competence and experience in working with risk management.
* Good knowledge and understanding of compliance frameworks, and additional knowledge of one or more compliance areas is a plus.
* Worked with internal and/or external investigations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing (additional fluency in a third language is a plus).
It is extra meriting if you also have:
* A master's degree in human rights.
* Worked with or been responsible for a due diligence program, including screening.
* Deep knowledge of sustainability and related ESG frameworks.
* Project management skills.
