The Classified Media division (SCM) operates all online classified properties outside Norway. Within SCM there are four main organizational hubs: Oslo, Stockholm, Barcelona and Singapore. For the Stockholm hub, which coordinates the Northern European activities, SCM is looking for a COO.
The COO for SCM Northern Europe will be an important key player in securing that the hub's portfolio companies grow and develop in accordance with expected results. The COO will work very closely with both the General Manager of the hub as well as the General Managers of the local portfolio companies to lead projects and implement strategies - all with one purpose, to facilitate success. Also part of the COO's agenda will be support in strategy development as well as in any potential M&A processes. The COO reports directly to the General Manager of the hub for Northern Europe. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden but will require frequent business travel, mostly within Europe.

A candidate for this position has a solid academic background, possibly complemented by an MBA, and has first hand experience from leading large scale change programs, perhaps on a consultancy basis. Knowledge and experience from working with online business models will be crucial. Excellent knowledge in the English language is a prerequisite.
