hela Sverige CBRE Data Center Solutions are looking for a Contract Manager to manage, motivate and develop the on-site Data Centre Critical Environment Operations team in a business critical 24/7/365 operating production environment. The Contract Manager is responsible for the production and implementation of standard operating procedures and to audit and monitor the on-site operations team's efficiency against Service Level Agreements and customer expectations. The Contract Manager provides leadership management, and development of the contract, ensuring financial, and operational commitments are met and exceeded. The role is responsible for all strategic and tactical aspects of the Critical Environment operations supporting the Clients production data centre environment including, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, monitoring, control systems.
Role and responsibility of the Contract Manager
The Contract Manager is responsible for the day to day Operations at the Data Center Site and holds Management responsibility for CBRE team of approx. 18 employees thus providing team with technical guidance/advice, coaching, succession- and training plans, performance reviews, recruiting etc.
Primary task also includes.
• Manage annual contract budgets. Produce site related financial, activity and other statistical information and reports as requested. To provide input into regular management reports.
• Be the point of contact during significant events or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring within the specified site.
• As necessary, participate in any business continuity plans the team may be involved in.
• Ensure data center operations and business policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to within the contract.
• Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both CBRE and subcontractor's activities, and are regularly reviewed.
• Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence. Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure post holders are fully competent, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place, monitoring staff retention rates and ensuring staff training & development plans are produced and implemented.
• Ensure all absence is fully covered by suitably trained and experienced staff to ensure full 24/7 coverage.
• Ensure all subcontractors deliver a quality and competent service and that all contractual obligations are met
Your background
The ideal candidate has an Electrical or Mechanical degree at Master or BA level and has 3-5 years' manager experience from data center or other critical environment in an international company. You are commercially strong and can both interpret and create financial business reports. You are used to working with budgets and budget controls as well as KPIs/SLA's. You have proven track record from management of technical teams. Experience from 24/7 rota will be an advantage.
Furthermore, the following experience is highly valued.
• In depth knowledge of HSE statutory regulations
• Experience with UPS, switch gear, Transformers, Fire Alarm systems and Fire Suppressions systems (sprinklers)
• Experience with or from the Outsourcing industry
• Prior experience with Supplier management and negotiations
• Strong understanding of ticketing or work flow management systems and tools
• Experience with escalation management and emergency issues incl. client communications
• Project Management experience
