Technogarden Engineering is looking for, on consultant assignment, a Vessel & Asset Manager for a customer in the south east region of Sweden. As Vessel & Asset Manager within the Field & Service Department you will be responsible for our time charted vessels and to achieve efficient utilization of vessels and assets. The purpose of the Vessel & Asset Manager is to provide the company with offshore installation expertise to enable development, design, installation and commissioning of offshore installation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract management, including drafting of scopes, vessel charter, negotiation of contracts and budget monitoring.
• Review of internal and external design documents and methodology studies with focus on installation documents. Draft own documents where required.
• Ensure a smooth installation phase by extensive and early planning and engineering.
• Participate and support at HAZOPs / HAZIDs for the installation phase.
• Check consistency of installation schedules between the project teams and charted vessels and provide input to the further development of schedules.
Key Skills:
Applications are welcome from experienced Offshore Engineers/Sea Captains qualified in Mechanical or Structural Engineering with:
• Preferably experience with subsea installations
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
• Contract management experience
• Sound background on vessel audits/certification and offshore installation activities
• Familiar with IMS, IMO and IMCA standards and regulations
• HSE and QA training and hands-on experience
• Understanding of procurement processes
• Knowledge of Offshore Legislation
• Formal or vocational management qualification
